As some of you may know by now, I love baking. I often make breadsticks (sometimes with cheese, as above, sometimes just plain with a bit of rock salt to have aside a meal), but I always use white flour. I decided to do something a little different last time I made them! I used spelt flour (as I use in many of the muffin recipes I love) and I think they turned out quite well. I may have baked them for a few minutes too long, as I was having a hard time telling whether they were done, but overall they came out well and were super easy to make (as always!).

ReplyDeleteBut for the ones in today's post, I used 3 cups of spelt and just over 1 cup of water (rather than 4 cups of white flour and 1 1/3 of water). The rest of the recipe was exactly the same as the one in the link above, though. :) x
